Pete believed in the power of song and did not believe in singing alone. Come together and let's make a big and beautiful sound.

The Toshi & Pete Seeger Sing a Long is an opportunity to raise our voices in song and support community activist. Each year we sing and shine a light on folks doing great work in the name of truth and justice. We honor the path and spirit of Toshi and Pete who did this kind of movement building work for most of their lives.

GOODFolk is a music/art series created and curated by Toshi Reagon

Toshi Seeger filmmaker, producer, and environmental activist. Innovator, maker of Stone Soup, Co- founder of the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater and The Great Hudson Revival. A brilliant organizer and strategist. Pete Seeger, Folk singer, Songwriter and most of all an activist. He used his music to bring folks together, and confront injustice. He met my parents during the civil rights movement. Toshi Seeger booked the SNCC Freedom Singers all over America. These performances helped raised funds for the Student Non Violent Coordinating Committee. Toshi and Pete spent their time on this planet working on behalf of several justice movements. Amazing and good people.
