New Signing: Dlina Volny
January 12, 2026

TRO Essex Music Group and its label arm, Shamus Records, are thrilled to announce a new publishing deal, alongside selective master representation, with the Belarusian post-punk trio Dlina Volny. This partnership marks another of the company’s most promising UK signings, further enriching a global legacy that includes iconic artists such as Pete Townshend, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Lead Belly, and Bill Evans. Dlina Volny also join our roster of recent breakthrough artists including St. Catherine’s Child, Flamy Grant, Jaden Evans, Casii Stephan, and Sam Louis, to name just a few.
Under this deal, TRO Essex will be representing the publishing rights to Dlina Volny’s full catalogue. In addition, the company will represent the master rights of their early releases “Mechty,” “Neizmerima,” and their cover of “Café Of Dancing Lights” through its label arm, Shamus Records.
Originally from Minsk and now based in Warsaw and London, Dlina Volny meld Eastern European post-punk with Western darkwave, crafting a moody, introspective sound driven by haunting vocals that feels both nostalgically familiar and distinctly modern. Their debut LP, ‘Dazed’ (2021), mixed by Dean Hurley and mastered by Mike Bozzi, established the trio as a rising force across Europe, the UK, and Mexico, with festival appearances at ESNS, Kalabalik på Tyrolen, and Grauzone.
Their latest album, ‘In Between’, released on August 8, marks a bold evolution of their signature style, embracing an even darker, more assertive sound that blends elements of dark pop, EBM, and cold wave, further solidifying their reputation as one of Eastern Europe’s most compelling contemporary acts.
High-profile critics have taken note of the trio’s compelling artistry. Clash calls Dazed “a crystalline, inviting document of sub-zero electronics… ‘Do It’ revolves around that motorik pulse, utilising analogue synths and swooping, post-punk bass lines.”
With a distinct sound that resonates across continents, Dlina Volny are poised to expand their reach even further.
