New Woody Guthrie Exhibit

TRO is thrilled to announce that TRO writer Woody Guthrie, known as one of America’s greatest songwriters, will be honored in a new exhibit "Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song". The exhibit will open tomorrow February 18, at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City, and run through May 22.

Presented by the Woody Guthrie Center and Woody Guthrie Publications this exhibition is one you won't want to miss, featuring “an extraordinary selection of instruments, manuscripts, objects, photographs, books, art, and audiovisual media. Prominent among these rarely seen objects are the original, handwritten song lyrics to “This Land Is Your Land,” which Guthrie composed just a few blocks away from The Morgan in 1940!”
