New Music: Bill Evans "Morning Glory" and "Inner Spirit"

Resonance Records has released two limited-edition Buenos Aires Bill Evans concert recordings, Morning Glory, a 1973 Concert, and Inner Spirit, a 1979 performance available by CD, or digital download.

Morning Glory recorded at the Teatro Gran Rex on June 24, 1973, features Evans with his trio mates Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell, and Inner Spirit, recorded at the Teatro General San Martin on Sept. 27, 1979 showcases Evans with his last trio, featuring Marc Johnson and Joe LaBarbera both veterans of Woody Herman’s band.

The records highlight classic Bill Evans compositions like Waltz For Debby, Re: Person I Knew, Laurie, and more as well as exclusive interviews from the performers!
