Tonight, TRO will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary, founded in 1949, by legendary music man Howie Richmond, TRO is a leading Independent Music Publisher in all genres of music, representing iconic songwriters like Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Lead Belly, Oscar Brand, Bernice Johnson Reagon, as well as legendary groups like Pink Floyd, The Who, Black Sabbath, and many more.

While celebrating our past and standing on the shoulders of our legendary writers, TRO has continued to promote the growth of our catalog. With an aggressive A&R team that boasts 27 new writer and artist signings last year and the launch of our new label, Shamus Records. TRO Essex has offices in every territory around the World and is deeply proud of its legacy of curating and protecting some of the most important copyrights and recordings in music!
