Procol Harum's "A Salty Dog" turns 55

Happy 55th Release Anniversary to Procol Harum’s third album “A Salty Dog”!
Featuring a live orchestra for the first time, the album oozed musical variety and reached number 27 in the UK Albums Charts. The title track was considered by critics as one of the finest songs ever to come from Procol Harum and B.J. Wilson, the band’s drummer, thought it was the most beautiful song he had ever heard.
